Villa Ubud 009

The villa has a unique design. It is based on Vastu – the precious compilation of rules governing building, invented thousands of years ago in Old India. As such it precedes Feng Shui, the Chinese version of geomantic building.  

Interestingly, the place found its way into the Balinese way of building, so it is quite comparable. Without getting to specific one can say: Vastu is designed to enable the free flow of energies throughout, to show respect for nature and represent the four elements: water, ether (air), earth and fire. Guests will feel the difference.
